For an apartment, the most suitable solution is a multi-split: a single outdoor unit (essential in co-ownership to preserve façade aesthetics) connected to 2 to 5 indoor units. Discreet, silent (20-25 dB indoors), efficient. In a co-ownership, building manager approval is almost always required to fix the outdoor unit on the façade.

Can a reversible air conditioner replace heating?

A reversible air-to-air heat pump can heat a room or an extension efficiently down to -10 °C or even -15 °C for high-end models.
